Dear Ibn'ers,
Zwemfest 2023 is taking place on the 29th of September, so get your earplugs, put on your best outfit and come party with us to some great live music. Zwemfest is organized by different students each year of the associations VIP, GLV Idun, GHD Ubbo Emmius and Ibn Battuta. Zwemfest gives a podium to a multitude of local and national bands to showcase their talents at a legendary venue, VERA. The bands pull their inspiration from various genres like garage rock, punk and indie but also hip-hop and jazz.
We are excited to have EUT as our headliner this year. They are an Amsterdam-based alternative-indie band that has demonstrated their talent for crafting lively pop earworms infused with a restless spirit like their debut "Fool For The Vibes". So save the date and head to the VERA website for tickets. As a Ibn Battuta member, you can get a discount code. Don't wait too long, as there is a limit on the number of 50 discount tickets per association.
