Dear Students,
On the 9th of April you have the opportunity to visit one or more companies in the city of Groningen. This event offers a unique chance to go behind the scenes, expand your network, gain insights into their work, and learn how to apply for a job with them! You are free to sign up for whatever company round(s) interests you. There will also be a free lunch and drinks provided at the Lycens company visit.
Municipality of Groningen:
From 9:30 to 11:00 we will visit the Municipality of Groningen. Would you like to learn how a municipality works towards a future with fewer cars, more sustainable transport alternatives, and more space for greenery and social interaction? Then visit the Mobility team of the Municipality of Groningen. Their team tackles a wide range of mobility topics, including shared mobility, parking, logistics, cycling, traffic safety, public transport, and urban development.
Make it to the North:
If you are an international student looking for in the Netherlands, Make it in the North can help you! From 12:45 to 14:30 they will give a presentation on the northern job market and explain how they can help you connect with employers in the North. Do not miss out on their tips and tricks!
Stukton:
Do you want to learn more about the Groningen railway station developments? From 13:00 to 14:30, Strukton will provide us with a tour through the construction side and explain their role as construction company in the project.
Lycens
We will finish our day at Lycens' office with some drinks and snacks! From 15:00 to 16:30 Lycens is a consulting firm that helps property owners with their challenges in demolition, new construction, and renovation/maintenance of real estate, as well as all environmental and safety aspects involved.
